Earth is called the blue planet. Do you know why?

From space the earth looks blue because it has a lot of water. Water evolves in three states. Solid. Think of ice and snow. Liquid. All we drink. Gas. We call this vapor or steam.

Every living thing on Earth contains water. An elephant is 70 percent water, a tomato is 90 percent water; mice and people are 65 percent water.

These are the quantities of water we use for daily activities. Flushing the toilet uses 20 liters of water. A five - minute shower uses 100 liters of water. Washing your hands uses 2 liters of water. Brushing your teeth uses 5 liters of water.
