THE MISTERY OF THE PIANO
This is the Carter's house. It's Saturday so the twins don't have school today. Freddie is reading a book and Lucy is looking out the window. She can see two men. They are walking up the path and they are carrying a piano.

Mom is very surprised. She asks, " Is that piano for us? Who's it from? "
The man says, "It's from Edward Carter"
"Uncle Edward! How nice!" - Says Mom

Later that day Freddie and Lucy are watching TV in the living room. Suddenly, they hear a noise.

"What's that?" - Asks Lucy.
"It's music" - Answers Freddie.
"But where's it coming from?" - Asks Lucy.
"I think it's coming from the piano" - Says Freddie.
"But who's playing the piano?" - Asks Lucy.

The children go to find Mom. "Mom! The piano is magic!" - Says Lucy
"Don't be silly!" - Says Mom: Come on. It's time for bed now

The next morning Mom and Dad go into the living room. What a mess! The cushions are on the floor. The flowerpots are broken. The plants are on the sofa and the rug is messy.

That night Mom, Dad and the children are having dinner. Suddenly, they hear some music.

"Don't sing at the table, Freddie" - Says Dad
"I'm not singing" - Says Freddie
"Who's singing then?" - Asks Dad
"I don't know" - Answers Freddie
"Where's that music coming from?" - Asks Mom
"It's coming from the living room" - Answers Lucy

So Mom, Dad, Lucy, Freddie and the baby go to the living room. They get a very big surprise, "You see" - Says Lucy: The piano is playing on its own!

Suddenly, the music stops. "This is very strange" - Says Dad.
Then Lucy has an idea. "Let's open the piano and see what's inside" - She says.

Dad opens the piano. there are lots of mice inside. They are all dancing. They are having lots of fun and making  a lot of noise!. So the mice are playing the piano. And who is making all the mess in the living room? Do you know?
